Upon the completion of his assignment overseas, Pete teamed up with childhood friend, Tim Cahalin, whose custom design architecture firm provided resources for development and manufacturing.
Together, they commenced work on creating bullet-resistant classroom security products to prevent and mitigate school shootings.
To avoid the appearance of militarizing a classroom, Pete and Tim developed simple concepts with practical applications, which could easily blend into the environment.
